About the Author
Carl E. Wooldridge Jr. fell in love with the fantasy genre from an early age. He spent a good majority of his childhood being exposed to things like the Thundercats and He-Man. Going into his teenage years, he discovered games like Magic: The Gathering, Final Fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons, Secret of Mana, and Vampire, which emboldened the direction of his hobbyist life. He’s read many books from his favored authors: R.A. Salvatore, Raymond E. Feist, and Drew Karpyshyn. He was born and raised in San Diego, California, and from there he joined the military where he spent two decades as ordnance technician. Going into retirement, he now lives in Colorado Springs, CO with his wife Michelle, and for the rest of years in the mountains, he wants to write classic heroic fantasy books.
